Is There Lodging on Campus? Rooms are dorm style.

What About Food?

You can buy a meal plan here for on-campus meals for $85 for 6 all you can eat meals (Dinner -Friday & Saturday, Breakfast -Saturday & Sunday, Lunch - Saturday & Sunday). If you do not purchase a meal plan you will be responsible for providing your own meals. The cafeteria is not open to those who do not purchase the meal plan.

Can I go to more than one workshop during a session?
Yes, you can attend as many as you wish.

What Types of Sessions Will There Be?

Sessions will be a mixture of In-person keynote style, panels and action-oriented workshops. Presenters will represent diverse backgrounds and experiences and will include adult and youth presenters. We do not currently have any plans for virtual sessions but that could change.
 

Will There Be Sessions/Activities for Kids?
We have some youth working on activities for kids. As it gets closer to the date their may be other sessions and activities added, we also encourage youth to plan activities. Sessions are open to anyone of any age.

Can I Submit a Session Proposal? We are accepting workshop
session proposals you can submit a proposal here . We stop accepting once all spots are filled, so get yours in ASAP!

Do Presenters Have to Register for the Conference?
Yes, we ask all presenters to register for the conference.

What if I Miss The Deadline For Submitting a Proposal?
You will be able to offer a popup session, see below.

What are Pop-Up Sessions? How do they work? Can Anyone Offer
One?
A pop-up session is an impromptu session that happens during break or non-scheduled times. They usually come about as a result of a topic that has emerged. These happen often at AERO conferences. Generally, the person offering or organizing a session will let participants know what it's about and where it's happening.

Does AERO endorse and monitor pop-up sessions?
AERO does not monitor or vett pop-up sessions. AERO is not
responsible for the content or delivery of pop-up sessions.

Will there be a central location where people will come to gather
and get information?
Generally, attendees gather around where our registration table is located and or find other spots to connect and network. You can always come to the AERO registration table for information.

Will there be networking?
Networking is the backbone of the AERO conference. We encourage
people to use the Whova app to network (see below). You can also come to the registration desk at any time during
the conference. There will be plenty of time for networking.

What is the Whova App?
Whova is an app that can be used for networking, offering pop-up
sessions, accessing the schedule, and conference announcements. You will be able to enter any of your information that you wish. Registrants will receive instructions on how to download and use Whova.

How do I give my feedback about the conference? You will be sent a
survey at the conclusion of the conference. There will also be a closing/evaluation session on Sunday, June 29, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM
